- Termination function
Using the blade on the network punch down tool, the wire core is secured into the IDC slots on the module. A clicking sound indicates that the wire core has been successfully terminated. - Cutting function
The termination process uses the blade tip of the punch tool. During the termination process, the blade, assisted by the impact force and spring action, cuts off the excess wire core.
Product maintenance
- When opening the box, check whether the corresponding parts of the product have been coated with anti-rust oil.
- Try to avoid exposing the instrument to liquids (sweat, water, drinks, etc.) while in use.
- When working at height, try to protect tools from falling.
- If possible, regularly apply anti-rust oil to tools.
- After using the tool, you should store the tool in a protected place such as a tool box.
- The blade surface is treated to be rust-proof, but not rust-proof 100%, still need maintenance.
